<p>PURPOSE:To discriminate a true target from a false target, by comparing a parameter obtaned by deriving a distance and active and passive receiving levels, with a parameter prepared in advance. CONSTITUTION:A radar pulse generated by a transmitter 4 by an active operation is reflected by a specified object, and is inputted to a signal processor 6 through a receiving circuit 3. The processor 6 derives a distance from an arrival time of the pulse, and detects and saves a parameter from a signal level. Subsequently, by a switching controller 5, the system is made to execute a passive operation, radiation radio waves from a target are received by the circuit 3, and the parameter is detected by the processor 6. These parameters are stored by relation to the distance, and are outputted from a reference value signal generator 8. On the other hand, in the actual operation state, in the same way, parameters in case when the operation is active and passive are derived and are inputted to a comparing and deciding device 7. A parameter of a true target corresponding to this distance is supplied in advance to the deciding device 7, and when both of them are compared and are equal, a signal showing that the target is a true target is outputted to an output terminal 9.</p> |
