PURPOSE:To automatically punch holes for binding copies through a copied paper sheet in a copying machine after copying, and discharge it, by providing a stopper for blocking a paper conveying route near the outlet of a puncher, and allowing a paper sheet to form a loop during the stop of conveyance, when the forward end of the sheet contacts with the stopper and its conveyance is hindered. CONSTITUTION:When a copied paper sheet 10 is conveyed from the left side with conveying rolls 5, 6, and the forward end of the sheet 10 passes by a photosensor 7, a solenoid 2 is actuated with this signal to protrude a stopper 4 from the underside of a conveyance route, and thus, conveyance of the sheet 10 is stopped. At the same tme, a clutch 3 is disconnected with the signal of the photosensor 7 to stop the roll 6. When the sheet is stopped, a punching drill is lowered by actuating a solenoid 1 to punch holes. Pieces of paper cut drop in a receiving box 8. The roll 6 stops while conveyance of the sheet 10 is suspended, but the roll 5 continues to rotate, so the sheet 10 is allowed to form a loop to escape the feed of the sheet 10. After punching, the solenoids 1, 2 are deenergized, and the clutch 3 is connected to convey the sheet 10 to the right side and discharge it. |
