Procedure at spray painting of a surface, which is to be spray painted only partly and inside a border line. Along the border line a projecting edging is applied along which the edge area of the spray jet used for the painting is directed, so that the fine part of the spraying particles of paint hit the surface inside the area which is hidden by the edging. Thereby a gradual diluting of the paint along the border line is accomplished. The edging in a manner known per se is formed of a piece of tape (2) which in the form of a roll of a piece of tape with glue on one side in a holder (10, 11) from which the piece of tape can be unwound through a nozzle which at one side of the piece of tape forms one in height and width diminishing outlet, the opening of which has a height which is smaller than the width of the piece of tape. One arranges the piece of tape in such a way in the nozzle, that its edge part is folded by the in height diminishing nozzel with its side of glue against the inside place side with the glue of a piece of tape, so that the piece of tape runs along the edge part which is double folded and lacks hereby a surface free of glue while its other edge part shows such a surface of glue. When painting one fastens the end of a piece of tape somewhere along the border line on the surface with a folded over part of a piece of tape directed inwards against the surface, which is about to be spray painted and pulls the tape holder along the border line so that the glue covered side of the tape sticks on the surface while the double folded edge area forms said projecting edging. The invention is also intended for a device for accomplishing the procedure. |
