PURPOSE:To manufacture a group of many light transmitters with one step so as to fit them for wiring into the inside of a complicated machine, by printing on a flexible sheet, transparent linear materials higher in refractive index than said sheet, in parallel to each other. CONSTITUTION:Linear transparent materials 1 are printed on a flexible sheet in parallel to each other, and the material 1 is higher in refractive index than the sheet 2 by at least 0.03. For example, a film, of F2C=CF2 and F3C-CF=CF2 copolymer having a refractive index as low as 1.338 is used for the sheet 2, and a methyl ethyl ketone solution of about 20wt% copolymer of methyl methacrylate and butyl acrylate having 1.492 refractive index is printed on the sheet 2 and the solvent is removed. Alternatively, the sheet 2 is coated with an epoxy type prepolymer, a photosetting resin, a ring-opening-polymerizable compd., etc. by a screen printing of drawing pen writing method, and hardened by heating, irradiating with UV rays, etc. to form plural stripes of light transmitters 2 with one step. It can be formed easily into an optional section, and used for a copying machine, portable computer, camera, or the like small-sized devices as a light transmitting sheet. |
