摘要 PURPOSE:To perform the rational speed reduction and stopping by comparing the relative speed between a spindle and feeding mechanism of a machine tool with a plurality of preset speed reduction and stop patterns and automatically adapting to the optimal pattern. CONSTITUTION:The relative speed region of the spindle and feed mechanism of a machine tool is set into three ranges of high, intermediate and low while the speed reduction and stop pattern at the machine side is set, then it is decided in which range current speed region to be determined by the combination of the real speed range of the machine feed mechanism and the spindle under operation will belong, to select all or a portion of said speed reduction and the stop pattern corresponding to the current speed range thus to reduce the speed or stop the object. When setting the speed reduction, stop pattern Fmax, for example, if it is decided that the speed range at the machine side is intermediate, the actual speed reduction, stop pattern of F1 or F2 is selected to perform the control on the basis of said pattern.
