PURPOSE:To measure area rates to be preset with supplying rates for ink at a high speed by photographing the entire surface of a printing plate with a TV camera, correcting uneven illumination, etc., extracting and standardizing the 100% and 0% parts of printing areas, dividing the same to the dividing width of ink fountains and integrating the same. CONSTITUTION:A plain stand to be plated thereon with a printing plate P is illuminated with a light source 1, and is photographed with a TV camera 2 through a filter 17 of a magenta color. Thereafter, the plate P is placed thereon and is photographed. The correcting image signal obtainable in a correcting circuit 3 is applied to a trimming circuit 5 by which the 100% and 0% voltage values of printing areas are extracted. The signal to be divided to the same width as the divided width of ink fountains of a conditions circuit 8 and the signals of the circuit 5 are applied to a clock frequency generating circuit 9. The extracted voltages of the circuit 5 are subjected to sample holding 7, A/D convertion 10 and integration 11, and are then stored in an RA12. The data of the RAM12 is operated 13 with the data of the circuit 8 and is stored in an RAM14. The data of the RAM14 is recorded in a magnetic card 16, by which said data is usable for inputting to an ink regulator for printing machines. |
