<p>The towing linkage between e.g. a lorry (1) and trailer (2) comprises at least two vertical pivotal axes (3,4,5,6) on both the lorry and trailer which are disposed symmetrically about the central longitudinal plane of each vehicle. Two bars (7,8) connect the pivotal axes (3,4) on the lorry with the pivotal axes (5,6) situated on the opposite sides of the trailer. The bars cross one another along the longitudinal plane of the lorry and trailer when the two vehicles are in line. The ends of the two bars are set at different levels on the abutting ends of the tractor and trailer.</p> |
