PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of work, by placing a plurality of permanent magnets to automatically hold a cut-off and an uncut-off portions in wire-cutting electric discharge machining. CONSTITUTION:A mounting plate 3 having a plurality of mechanisms for mounting permanent magnets 24 is provided on a working head 2 at its front portion opposed to a workpiece 25. The permanent magnets 24 are removably supported on the above mounting mechanisms. Permanent magnet separation mechanisms 21, 22, 23 are provided on the mounting mechanisms. Among the permanent magnets 24, predetermined ones are separated by controlling the separation mechanisms according to an instruction programmed at optional time or previously, so that a cut-off and an uncut-off portions are held like a bridge. |
