PURPOSE:To improve fixability and electrostatic chargeability by using a mixture of microcapsules using hardenable materials as well as hardenable materials and hardeners as core materials as a capsule toner for pressure fixing and contg. a display recording material in one of these capsules. CONSTITUTION:Polyurethane acrylate, a polymn. accelerator, carbon black as well as magnetite and hexamethylene diisocyanate are compounded, and the compound is dispersed in a mixed solvent of acetone, hexane, etc. The soln. is added into an aq. soln. of gum arabic under vigorous stirring, whereby an emulsion of oil in water type is formed. Water at 40 deg.C is added to the emulsion to rise the temp. gradually to 90 deg.C and the emulsion is held for 20min under stirring, whereby microcapsules are formed. The capsule soln. is centrifugally separated to separate the gum arabic water, whereby powdery capsule toner is obtained. Thereafter, microcapsules of hardeners such as benzoyl peroxide are similarly obtaind. Two kinds of such powdery capsules are mixed, whereby the toner for pressure fixing is obtd. |
