<p>Sulphur cements and concretes are made by heating together sulphur, a plasticiser therefor such as dicyclopentadiene, a filler such as pulverised fly ash or silica flour, and a minor proportion of a vulcanisation accelerator as used in the rubber industry. For a sulphur concrete an aggregate may also be present or the other ingredients may be added to heated aggregate.</p> |
