PURPOSE:To realize loading of boards on a pallet in an automatically formed line by providing a special device and cleaning severed boards. CONSTITUTION:A sludge removing device 6 which removes sludge and the like of a severed board 2, and a formed line end detecting device 24 which detects formation of a line by the predetermined number of said boards and arranging properly the end of the formed line at a predetermined position, and further a formed line opening and closing device 5 which transfers a desired number of boards in a line onto a conveyance bench are provided. Boards 2 severed by means of an automatic sawing machine (unillustrated) are arranged in a line within the device 5 after the sludge is removed from said boards at the time of movement of the device 6 in the predetermined direction. Upon completion of formation of the line, a signal of said completion is sent out from the device 24 to stop supply of boards 2 by the automatic sawing machine and drop boards 2 in a formed line at the same time. At this time, since boards 2 are dropped with the end of the formed line being pressed by means of a spring 23 of the device 24, they can be transferred onto a lifter 4 always in line. |
