<p>Novel hydroxybutyl-imidazole derivatives represented by the Formula (I) are disclosed. (I) They are useful as antimicrobial agents. Their preparation by (1) reacting a corresponding oxirane with imidazole, (2) reacting a corresponding ketone with a tertiary butyl magnesium halide or, (3) reacting a corresponding halo-alcohol with imidazole is also disclosed.</p> |
