PURPOSE:To easily measure a transfer function and the like, by transmitting a measuring signal, and forming a comparison signal in synchronizing with the measuring signal, based on the successional period signal. CONSTITUTION:A broad band M series pseudo random pulse generating circuit 6 is connected to a recording input terminal IN of a VTR5, a reproduced output terminal OUT of the VTR5 is connected to the 2nd channel CH-B of an FET analyzer 2 via a sample hold circuit 9 and to the 1st channel CH-A via a recording signal reproduction circuit 7 and a sample hold circuit 8. Since the VTR5 can not peform recording and reproduction at the same time, an M succession pseudo random pulse is recorded as the measuring signal and reproduced and a recording signal reproduced based on this reproduced output signal, and the reproduced output signal itself, that is, comparison signal consisting of the M succession pseudo random pulses are inputted to the FET analyzer 2, allowing to measure the frequency versus phase characteristics of the VTR5 based on the comparison of the both. |
