<p>In the novel method, two beats are used for determining the location of an object (17), the drift velocity of which beats along an associated reference line (12, among others) can be calculated from the frequencies of the waves generating the beats and the location with the same phase angle of which beats can be calculated from the sources (10, 11, among others) of these waves. To determine the location, the delay times at predetermined phase angles of at least two beats are measured from a reference location (13) to the location of the object (17) and from this the reference lines are determined at the point of intersection of which the location of the object is positioned. <IMAGE></p> |
