PURPOSE:To obtain a reproducing output which is equal to a ''Sendust '' head or above in a short wavelength area, by using a ferritic head having suitable gap length as a recording head to an alloy tape of high magnetic force. CONSTITUTION:An input signal is separated into a luminance signal Y and a chrominance signal C by a YC separating circuit 11. These signals are superposed by a mixer 14, and are recorded onto a tape by recording ferritic heads 8a, 8b having 0.7mum gap length GL. A reproducing signal from a magnetic tape is reproduced by reproducing heads 9a, 9b having of 0.25mum gap length GL, and after that, is separated by a high-pass filter 15 and a low-pass filter 16, and each of them is superposed by a mixer 19 through an FM demodulator 17 and a frequency converting circuit 18, and is outputted. |
