摘要 PURPOSE:To perform azimuth indication correctly, by supplying power to a gyromotor in an inner sphere by thin wires, and using a liquid as the inner sphere holding liquid whose viscosity is higher than that of conductive liquid. CONSTITUTION:When a power source is turned ON and a pump device 10 is driven, the inner sphere 2 is floated in the liquid. At the same time, the power is supplied to the gyromotor 11 through the thin wires 16 and 17 and the motor is driven. Then the inner sphere 2 performs the well known north pointing action. The rotated amount, i.e. the difference between the north directing shaft and the north pole of the outer sphere is detected by an azimuth detector 8 through an annular magnet 9. Said output is amplified by a servo amplifier 7, a servomotor 6 is driven, and a shaft 5 is rotated. Therefore, a gimbal frame 3, i.e. the outer sphere 1 is rotated in association with the inner sphere 2. When the azimuth difference between the azimuth detector 8 and the annular magnet 9 becomes zero, the servomotor 6 is stopped and the original state is obtained.
