<p>PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of a wind turbine, by constituting its blade from air-flow guiding and contracting sections and contracted air-flow receiving sections for receiving the contracted air flow. CONSTITUTION:A flow guiding and contracting section is constituted by two partial blades 2, (a'), and air flow guided by the blades (a), (a') is ejected from an opening C as a contracted flow. The contracted air flow is received at a contracted air-flow receiving section (d). The speed of the contracted air flow is higher than that in the area located between the two blades (a), (a'). Here, since the air flow is thus contracted, a resistance is acted to the blades (a), (a') by the air flow. Further, a flow straightening plate (b) is provided so that interference may not be caused in the air flow when it is guided by the blades (a), (a').</p> |
