<p>AO-3413 METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MAKING PLASTIC LENSES NWP:shp 1/10/79 Volume production of cast resin lenses is accomplished with a debossed disposable molding strip having a multiplicity of lens casting cups of required diametral size, depth and surface shape. The cups are filled with a casting precursor, covered and subjected to resin curing temperatures. Final lens surface shapes are provided by machining through the molding strip into the cupped and cured resin.</p> |
