PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption of fuel by controlling a clutch unit and autmatically disconnecting the output shaft of engine and an output transmission shaft when the speed is reduced with a brake unit. CONSTITUTION:An engine output shaft 1 provided with a fly wheel 4, transmits power to a main drive shaft 9 through a clutch unit 8. A freewheel 3 can be connected with the fly wheel 4 by a cluth 7 controlled by an electromagnetic coil 7, and stores inertia for starting the engine. The clutch unit 8 is operated by a clutch operating cylinder 14, which is controlled by a solenoid valve 13. When a brake unit operates, the clutch unit 8 is disconnected, thereby eliminating useless rotation of engine. This construction makes it possible to reduce the consumption of fuel. |
