PURPOSE:To obtain a stable aqueous dispersion of a hydrophobic substance, by using a room temp. dissociable blocked isocyanate compound. CONSTITUTION:In preparing an aqueous dipersion of a hydrophobic substance, a room temp. dissociable blocked isocyanate compound obtained by a method wherein the isocyanate group of a urethane polymer having a free NCO group prepared by reacting a polyisocyanate and a polyol preolymer having a surface activity and a room temp. dissociable isocyanate blocking agent are reacted in an equivalent ratio of the OH group of the isocyanate blocking agent to the NCO group of the urethane prepolymer of 0.2-1.2, is used as a dispersant. Thus the aqueous dispersion of the hydrophobic substance acquires an excellent dispersing capacity. |
