PURPOSE:To prevent the loss from happening and the temperature from rising at the fixing metal fitting of yoke by a method wherein the magnetic shield is fixed to the surface opposite to the windings of the fixing metal fitting of yoke of the iron core leg arranged around the windings and the other fixing metal fitting of side yoke to attract the leakage flux from the windings. CONSTITUTION:In a single phase triple iron core transformer, leakage flux attracted to and accumulated in the magnetic shields 36, 38 provided on and under winding 26 is flown from the area around center to side yokes 12, 14 as shown by the arrow marks. Then most of said flux flowing into the fixing metal fittings 22, 24 of said side yokes 12, 14 are attracted by the magnetic shields 44, 46 with high permeability letting only a bit of said flux flow into said fixing metal fittings 22, 24. Consequently, the numerous defects such as the loss and temperature rise locally concentrated in the ends of the metal fittings 20, 34 and said fixing metal fittings 22, 24 may be prevented improving the performance and durability of the transformer. |
