Magnetic tape guide system for recorder - has guides on support moved to apply cassette tape to magnetic head

The system has guides on the tape recorder's frame to guide the tape in the cassette (1). The guides pass through holes in the cassette's casing and hold the tape (3) against the magnetic head, which passes through another hole in the casing. The guides (17) are mounted on a shared support (16) that cooperates with control components on the chassis (14) of the recorder (2) so that the support is displaced towards the magnetic head and towards one main wall (4) of the casing. The support can pivot as well as move linearly on the chassis. When the tape guides come into play, the support is first pivoted towards the casing's main wall and then displaced linearly towards the head. The system is small and the tape is precisely applied to the head.
