<p>PURPOSE:To utilize the exhaust gas energy effectively by driving the auxiliary machine of an engine with an auxiliary turbine provided on a bypass passage when the supercharged pressure exceeds a predetermined pressure in a supercharged engine which opens or closes the bypass passage of an exhaust turbine with a control valve. CONSTITUTION:In an operating region where the supercharged pressure exceeds a predetermined pressure, a diaphragm 8 is actuated by means of the supercharged pressure introduced from an outlet port 3 through a pipe 7 to open a bypass valve 9. Accordingly, a part of the exhaust gas from an engine flows through a bypass passage 6 bypassing a turbine 5 and drives an auxiliary turbine 10, the driving force of which drives an auxiliary cooling water pump 21 through a reduction gear 20. Thereby, a part of the cooling water is introduced from the suction side passage 16 of a main pump 15 into an auxiliary cooling water passage 19, and is pumped up by the auxiliary cooling pump 21, then is combined with the cooling water from the main pump 15 at a discharge side passage 17 and is fed together into the engine.</p> |
