PURPOSE:To make the braking operation lighter upon braking a two-wheeled vehicle by a method wherein a cam and a follower, coupling a brake pedal and a braking device, are connected and a hook, connecting a throttle grip and the throttle valve, is released to close the throttle valve forcibly. CONSTITUTION:When the throttle valve 6 is being opened in some degree and the braking operation of the brake pedal 2 is effected, a brake wire is pulled and the cam member 12 is moved to the left in accordance with it. According to this operation, a cam surface 12a is disengaged from the protubelance 24a of the follower 24 and the follower 24 is pushed by a spring 25, whereby, is moved toward the cam 12 and is connected with it. On the other hand, the hook 20 slips on a retaining surface 20a and pivots about a pin 19 due to the resilient force of a return spring 6a for the throttle valve, which is transmitted through a throttle wire 9, whereby, is retreated from the pulling position of the hook 18 and the engagement with the hook 18 is released. A slider 16 is moved to the right due to the effect of the return spring 6a and permits closing of the throttle valve 6. Thus, the throttle valve 6 may be closed automatically. |
