PURPOSE:To easily detect a point of grounding, if a ground failure takes place, by providing a detection winding between a neutral point of an output of a power supply device and positive and negative outputs respectively and grounding a connection point of the windings via a high resistance. CONSTITUTION:Series circuits consisting of voltage detection windings 5 and 5' and a resistor R0 each to obtain an intermediate potential of an output voltage are connected respectively to output terminals (a) and (b) of a power supply device 1 and the connecting point of the windings 5 and 5' is grounded via a high resistor R1. The positive and the negative output voltage of the power supply 1 can be detected by using the windings 5 and 5' and also the degree of unbalance can be monitored at all times through the use of both the windings 5 and 5'. Since a bias voltage produced at grounding is almost proportional to the distance of grounding point from the power supply, the grounding point can instantly be detected. |
