The tool is for insertion and removal, or adjustment, of sound pegs in violins and other stringed instruments. It comprises a metal plate of 10 mm dia. which is soldered to a steel wire of 0.7 mm dia. - The wire runs through a copper tube of external dia. 5 mm and through an intermediary metal plate of 10 mm dia. and with a 5 mm central hole. From this plate, it passes through a 7 mm wire spring to the 10 mm dia. plate. At the opposite end of the tool, the wire engages with a grip claw. |
