PURPOSE:To keep the compatibility of circuits and to prevent the erroneous connection of the cable between devices, by adding 1 to the signal, which is received from another device, in a device and outputting the result to the outside of the device among plural devices constituting the information system. CONSTITUTION:The output of the first device 50 constituting the system is inputted to the second device 51 to connect plural devices 50-53 successively, and values of respective input signals of devices 50-53 are recognized as their own physical device numbers. Consequently, the same constitution is given to physical device number recognizing circuits in devices, and thus, the compatibility of circuits is kept, and errors of cable connections are eliminated. |
