<p>PURPOSE:To treat high concn. BOD waste water with good efficiency by mixing a part of the cleaned treated water obtained by the treatment in a separator for turbid matter provided behind a fixed bed catalytic oxidation tank with raw waste water, and supplying this to the fixed bed contact oxidation tank. CONSTITUTION:The raw waste water 20 contg. high concns. of BOD components is flowed into a raw water control tank 15, and the cleaned treated water 21 overflowing from the overflowing weir 13 of a distributing tank 12 is flowed into the tank 15 by using a cycle pipe 14. Air is flowed therein through an air inflow pipe 6' by driving a blower 16 to mix the water 20 and the water 21. The dilute waste water 22 which is decreased of the BOD concn. by this mixing is flowed into a contact oxidation tank 1 from its lower part by driving a pump 18 and the air from the blower 16 is flowed as fine bubbles uniformly into this tank through an air outflow pipe 6. The BODs in the waste water 22 are biologically oxidized by the effect of the aerobic microbes on the surfaces of packings 5.</p> |
