The invention relates to a conveying apparatus for loading work in underground mining, in particular for loading away ripping debris in roadway maintenance by means of a conveyor, preferably a scraper belt which consists of a belt structure with a drive fastened to a longitudinal side for a conveying member revolving in the belt structure, in which arrangement, to avoid changing round or shifting the conveying means, the conveying means is made movable in such a way that it can be moved when required and virtually without expenditure of force into its operating position and from the latter into its rest position, by the conveying means, for the vertical adjustment of its two ends, being mounted on a top part, pivotable about a transverse axis, of a slewing-ring top carriage in such a way that the pivotable parts are in equilibrium about the transverse axis, and by the slewing-ring top carriage being mounted on a movable bottom carriage in such a way that the perpendicular axis of rotation as well as the transverse axis and, during the pivoting of the top part about the slewing-ring axis, the perpendicular projection of the path of the centre of gravity of the pivotable parts remain within a base area which is circumscribed by the running-gear axis, allocated to the drive end of the conveyor, of the carriage bottom part, its longitudinal and transverse centres and the contact lines, arranged at the side remote from the drive, of its running gear.
