PURPOSE:To improve productivity, in the method of processing paper in a corrugate machine, by using at least two sets of mill roll stands and promptly further automatically changing the paper without causing the necessity for temporarily slowing down an operational speed of the paper milling machine. CONSTITUTION:Mill roll stands 1, 1' are operated self running by longitudianlly and laterally receiving a command and equipped with a paper connection preparing mechanism 35 and roll paper supporting mechanism, then one set of the mill roll stand 1' of the mill roll stands 1, 1' is moved from a roll paper carry- in position to a roll paper connection preparing position. Then after movement from this preparing position to a standby position, when a paper connection command is output, the one mill roll stand 1' is moved to a side of the other mill roll stand 1, situated in an operating position C supplied with roll paper 3 to a paper mill machine from the paper connection standby position, and paper connection is performed. After comletion of this paper connection, the other mill roll stand 1, supporting the used roll paper 3, is moved to a roll carry out position, and the other mill stand 1, that carried out the used roll paper, is moved to a carry in position. |
