In this device, consisting of a plate which is provided with a measuring raster, and a camera installed at a certain distance from the plate, and at least one flashlight projector generating a line pattern which is obliquely incident from above, the plate (10) is divided into two halves (10a, 10b). The halves (10a, 10b) can be pivoted about one vertical axis each and are attached articulated to standing plates (9a, 9b) arranged at a distance from one another.
