PURPOSE:To protect the lower face of a fuel tank and improve rigidity of a floor by forming a reinforcement having a closed section and a floor pannel in the integral form. CONSTITUTION:A tunnel 2 in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle is formed in the middle position of the width of a floor pannel 1, projecting upward from the face thereof. A fuel tank 3 is disposed inside the tunnel 2. A reinforcement 4 of a closed section extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle is formed integrally with the floor pannel 1 as long as at least the length of the fuel tank 3 at both lateral sides of the downward opening of the tunnel 2. If a car may run onto sideway stone, the lower face of the tank can be protected. |
