PURPOSE:To prevent the transmission of erroneous information, by stopping the typamatic function for double depression of typamatic keys. CONSTITUTION:Typamatic keys having a repeat function by which information is transmitted repeatedly at a constant period for a certain time when these keys are depressed are provided in a key input device. Only an FF 11 is set by a depression signal (a) of a typamatic key A and a strobe signal (d) generated by this depression signal, and a typamatic oscillating circuit 4 starts oscillation. Next, when a typamatic key B is depressed, an FF 12 is set by the strobe signal (d), and the input of the typamatic oscillating circuit 4 is closed, and the oscillation is stopped. That is, if another key A is operated already when the typamatic key B is depressed, the typamatic operation due to the key B is stopped. Consequently, erroneous information for double depression of typamatic keys is prevented from being transmitted. |
