PURPOSE:To keep a photoreceptor free from thermal damages, to prevent the heating up of an electrostatic charger and to obtain a stable electrostatic charging state by providing said charger spacially from a partition plate, and decreasing the quantity of thermoelectric conduction to the charger. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic charger 17, a focusing optical transmission body 18 constituting an optical system, a developing device 19, a cleaner 20, and a destaticizer 21 are disposed along the rotating direction in an adjacent state in the outside circumferential part of a photoreceptor 13. The charger 17 is supported by a charger bracket 22 to a sub-frame spacially from a partition plate 14, so that a spacing H is formed between the same and the plate 14. Here, heat evolves in an exposure lamp 12 during copying and this is transferred to the plate 14 and further it is going to be transferred from the plate 14 to the charger 22, but the quantity of heat conduction is decreased by said spacing H, by which the heating of the charger is prevented and the stable charging state is obtained. |
