PURPOSE:To prepare the titled composition capable of giving a silicone rubber having improved heat resistance and physical properties, by adding a specific calcium carbonate. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a diorganopolysiloxane of formula (R is univalent hydrocarbon group; R<1> is H or alkyl; R<2> is group selected from R<1> and R<1>O; n is a number corresponding to the viscosity of 50-1,000,000 cst at 25 deg.C) with (B) 0.1-20pts. of a silane or a siloxane having at least two groups hydrolyzable with moisture per molecule (the moisture-hydrolyzing group is selected from alkoxy, oxime, aminoxy, amino and amide group), and (C) 5-300pts. of calcium carbonate having acicular or fusiform shape, a specific surface area of 1-30m<2>/g by BET method, and an average particle diameter of 0.3-10mum. |
