PURPOSE:To keep a V-belt and a pulley away from damages at time of parking shift by releasing a clutch at time of parking to cut off power transmission and fixing a parking gear coupled to a final drive gear. CONSTITUTION:When a shift lever is shifted to a position P, a shaft 92 is rotated through a parking outer lever 93, and a parking lever 91 is rotated counter- clockwise, so that a parking rod 90 is pulled, which causes an enlarged diameter portion 90a of the parking rod 90 to run on a ball 89 and to push the end portion 83b of a parking anchor 83. Thus, the parking anchor 83 is moved to an engaging position, and a ball 83a is engaged with a parking gear 51, so that output shafts 72, 74 are fixed. At the position P, the operation of a manual valve causes a forward multiple disc clutch to be released, so that a driven pulley 34 and the parking gear 51 are completely intercepted. |
