The present invention relates to an apparatus for driving a three phase motor. The apparatus includes a rotor detection part which detects one end of a rotor, a control part which determines the position of the one end of the rotor based on a detection signal from the rotor direction part, and calculates a distance between the relatively closest stator pole to the one end of the rotor among the stator poles located in the target rotation direction of the rotor based on the determination result, and a power supply part which applies a current to the stator pole according to the control of the control part according to the distance from the stator pole. So, a stuck phenomenon generated in the initial operation of the three phase motor can be prevented. |
