In this process, an additive is to be added as powder, paste, tablet or the like to the water serving for scalding and not for consumption in order to bring about in this manner an influence on the sausages, e.g. with regard to the aroma, the flavour or the colour. To carry out the process conveniently, one or more compartments are assigned to the packaging of the sausages to receive the additives. In the case of can packages, the additives are situated on the can lid, a detachably arranged cap being provided for covering the additives. |
