发明名称 INK RIBBON DELIVERY MECHANISM
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent attachment of dust to a ribbon, confusion of a ribbon during the winding thereof and others and improve the quality of printing by removing static electricity caused by friction between the ink ribbon and a ribbon guide or the like with a conductive material, ground or the like. CONSTITUTION:For example, guide rollers 2 and 6 are made of a conductive rubber or the like while support shafts 8 and 9 supporting the rollers 2 and 6 in such a manner as to be free to rotate is constructed of a metal material. In addition, a guide shaft 11 retaining a metal carriage 10 in such a manner as to be free to rotate is also made of a conductive metal and then, both ends thereof are retained on a metal chasis. Any static electricity existing in an ink ribbon 4 is grounded via the guide rollers 2 and 6, the support shafts 8 and 9, the carriage 10 and the guide shaft 11 thereby removing the static electricity from the ribbon 4 completely.
