<p>PURPOSE:To realize a high speed printing and a higher quality of printing by forming heat generating elements composing two rows of pixel arrays individually with a ?-shaped heat generating bodies to control the driving of each heat generating section with one end thereof connected to a common electrode while the other end thereof is connected to a signal electrode. CONSTITUTION:Pixel arrays are composed of ?-shaped heat generating elements 11 in two rows and seven lines, which are connected to a common electrode 13 at the end 11C thereof while a signal electrode 14 at the other end 11S thereof. The common electrode 13 constitutes one block in a row A and another block in a row B which are connceted or switched with a switching element. The signal electrode 14 is so arranged that the same signal is inputted to each one line and hence, the driving of each element is controlled depending on a switching of a switching element and a signal from a signal generation source.</p> |
