The trolley has good manoeuvrability to make it suitable for moving through corridors of an office building. The trolley is guided by a person walking with it and is used for light transport. The hand trolley is fabricated on a light tubular frame (1,2,10). Shelving is provided for light (22) and heavy (26) loads. the lower part of the hand trolley is taken up with a battery charger (18) and a battery (19) driving an electric motor coupled (15) to the single central front wheel (2). A weight (27) is fitted below the motor to improve stability. Castors (3) are fitted at each rear corner to give good maneuverability, and a push button (9) ON/OFF control (6) is mounted on the handle (5). The trolley has a single drive wheel having a fixed axis and situated in the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the trolley, spaced the driven wheels.
