The hose is insulated by means of a hollow wall, the latter comprising two or more flexible sheets of flat material impermeable to gas and fluid. These are joined together by an intermediate strip of material, so as to form a heat-insulating chamber permeable in the horizontal direction by gas and fluid, and of a set volume. The wall can comprise more than one chamber, with a partition of puncture- and shock-resistant material, and the intermediate strip can be of metal or plastic meshwork, or wire.
