<p>For recovering rare metals from starting material containing these in a highly dispersed form, the starting material is melted together with a collector metal, in most cases iron, carbon and a reducible metal oxide being added in a finely divided form to the starting material. Rare metals migrate into the collector and can be separated from the latter by known processes.</p> |
