PURPOSE:To permit easy conveyance of thick originals by constituting the link of one node of a parallel quadric link mechanism of an upper guide member, and providing a belt mechanism on the original insertion side. CONSTITUTION:Rollers 17, 19 for insertion of thick originals re provided on the front and rear of an inclined guide surface, and an endless belt 19 is put thereon. One ends of a front link member 22 and a rear link member 23 are supported freely turnably to support shafts 22a, 23a of the side wall part of an upper guide member 12, and the other ends are supported freely turnably to the support shafts 22b, 23b of a turning member 24 supported turnably to the body 11 of a lower conveying mechanism. At this time, the shafts 22a, 23a are disposed with slight deviation in the direction opposite from the original conveying direction than the shafts 22b, 23b. In this way, the parallel quadric link mechanism is constituted by the upper guide member 12, the front link member 22, the rear link member 23 and the turning member 24. |
