<p>Hypodermic and similar needles, which are subject to friction, e.g. between plunger seal and needle interior, are surface treated with silicone by applying liq. silicone with a suitable contact device e.g. by wiping or rolling. The silicone used is a high viscosity liquid. Process is partic. suitable for the inside of needless abraded by the sealing lip of a plunger, also for the outside of a cannula, particularly disposable (used once) cannulae, uses min. amt. of silicone.</p> |
