PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus with excellent separation capacity and filtering efficiency of a powder or a particle in a liquid by arranging a permanent magnet so as to position a boundary part of a S pole and a N pole in such a manner that an inflow port and an outflow port formed in a casing are opposed to each other. CONSTITUTION:A cut powder in a cutting oil adsorbed to a magnetic drum 22 is squeezed by a roller 23 and the separated cutting oil is flooded out into an external tank 1 at a place 30 and, during this time, the residual cut powder is separated through a filter apparatus 31. That is, the cutting oil is flowed into a casing 32 from inflow ports 33.... In this case, because permanent magnets 35... are provided so as to be opposed to the inflow ports 33..., the fine cut powder is adsorbed to the magnets 35.... Especially, at the magnets 35..., a boundary part of a S pole strip plate 37a and a N pole strip plate 37b are positioned to oppose to the inflow ports 33. Therefore, a magnetic force is maximum at said boundary part and the cut powder contained in the cutting oil is adsorbed to the place where the magnetic force is the maximum. |
