摘要 The short-circuit current switching-off capability of a high-voltage autocompression compressed-gas switching chamber is intended to be increased by centring the switching-off arc in the axis space especially of stationary or movable double-nozzle arrangements. To this end, an arc centring device is proposed which is characterised essentially by the structural connection of the following components: a current conducting and/or gas outlet tube (7) and a tube (47) consisting of ferromagnetic material are connected without any spacing between the tube sections to form a double tube arrangement. A nozzle is inserted into the double tube arrangement. In the region of their ends facing the nozzle, the tube sections of the double tube arrangement are electrically conductively connected to one another. Outside this region, an insulating layer prevents current transfer between the tube sections. The insulating layer advantageously consists of potassium silicate or sodium silicate (water glass). The ferromagnetic tube is protected against arc erosion by an inserted tube consisting of erosion-resistant material. <IMAGE>
