<p>The invention relates to the packaging of flat, stacked articles. The package 1 comprises a locally breakable, sealed envelope 2 for insulating its contents from the surrounding environment, and means such as reinforcements 5 and a band 9 for protecting it against impacts. The envelope comprises a device consisting of a lateral bellows 3 and of at least one end flange 4 which facilitates both manual and automatic handling.
