PURPOSE:To weight a body with extremely high accuracy even if a lateral load is applied to a mounting board, by making the radius of curvature of the recessed surface of the sphere bearing member of the mounting-board side greater than that of the recessed surface of the bearing member of a load-cell side. CONSTITUTION:Four load cell units 6 are arranged nearly at four corners of a mounting board 4, and sphere bearing members 13 of the mounting-board side and steel balls 14 are provided corresponding to the units 6. When a truck mounting articles is placed on the mounting board 4, its weight is loaded on the center part of each load cell body 7 through a load transfer member 11 to strain a couple of left and right load detection arm parts 7a and 7b forming the load cell body 7, thus measuring the weight of the truck. For this purpose, the radius of curvature of the spherically recessed surface of the sphere bearing member 13 of the mounting-board side is made greater than that of the sphere bearing member 12 of a load-cell side, and a lateral load component to the load cell is reduced, so that the truck mounting articles is weighed accurately. |
