PURPOSE:To enable accurate control of the speed of a motor by counting the number of pulses for setting the speed during one cycle of a clock pulse proportional to the rotating speed to set a power source circuit ON or OFF in response to the number of the counted pulses. CONSTITUTION:This circuit has a pulse generator for generating clock pulses proportional to the motor rotating speed, an oscillator B for oscillating a pulse for setting the speed, and a counter C for counting the clock pulses from the generator A during one clock cycle to produce no output when the counted number is smaller than the set counted value and to produce an output when the counted number is equal to and larger than the set counter value. A power source circuit D is switched ON or OFF with the output of the counter C to control the motor M. Since the number of pulses is collected regularly independently of the motor rotation completely in this manner, the constant speed of the motor can be controlled in very wide motor speed extremely accurately. |
